School crossing 

Remember to remain alert and check for traffic even at a pedestrian or school crossing. Stop to check that traffic has stopped before stepping onto the road. Remember drivers will only stop if they see you, and just because you can see them doesn’t mean they can see you. If a school crossing supervisor is on duty, only cross when they indicate it is safe to do so.
